Randy, if you do write a book on the subject matter of single and celibate give me a holler! I would preorder it before you even write a word.

Thanks Jan for standing up for those of us that have chosen that road under God's leading.

Randy,
Who is this book for? I'm confused in that the Bible is quite clear about sexuality and all that it encompasses for those that are living within the will of God. It also warns of the negative consequences that come from engaging in sexual behavior whether physical or spiritual when you're not within the will of God.

I'm looking forward to this book and seriously hoping it isn't another salacious attempt to make the Gospel more culturally relevant, progressive or artistic for the sake of provoking response.

Sex is a tough topic within the Christian faith and it's ok that it's tough because nothing in life is more intimate (outside our relationship with Christ) than sex. It should be tough to discuss openly because that can bring a sense of reverence, not fear.

Best wishes.

I'm interested to see more information about this book (Shelia Walsh tweeted your Facebook Fan Page, but my girls follow me on FB and I can't do anything there...you know). At this point, I'm not real sure what it's about. I don't really have any negative thoughts about my sexuality and my Christianity -- but I know my husband has had a problem thinking I've retained my sexuality after I "found religion" (as he says). I am involved in women's ministry and sex just isn't discussed. Sad, huh? Sorry for the ramble!

I tried to take your survey but can't answer a lot of the questions, as they pertain to one's partner. I'm single, so it's kind of hard to answer any of those. I left those questions blank, hope that's okay.

I took the survey and found it hard to answer a few questions as they were. Some were no "yes or no" questions and yet that is how they had to be answered. I think it's great what you are doing and look forward to reading the book.

im really excited to read this randy! I think its realy important that christians realize that sex is a gift from God.. not the taboo that the church has defined it as..and at the same time not the fee for all that america has made it out to be. Rock on buddy keep the art coming on all levels.

Thanks so much, Jan. The huge challenge in writing this book is the depth and width of the subject matter. Maybe that should be another book.
