Excellent job…. I used to lead workshops on womenhood and sexuality at a 12 step retreat for years… Wow — This has so much wisdom… thank you for posting this Randy. I hope God continues to open this door for you and for this book. I’ve passed this video on to my pastor, our mission team, and friends.

“The liturgy and the Holy Eucharist provide beautiful symbolism for both our spiritual and sexual relationships, but the church continues to maintain a “don’t ask and don’t tell” policy about this mysterious connection” – This may cause me to buy this book. I don’t know what comes after your excerpt but, the Eucharist isn’t necesrily connected to our sexuality other than we are becoming one with Christ by partaking in the Sacrament. This is related to ’sexuality’ in the sense that it is similar to a man and a women becoming one spiritually and in the flesh within the sacrament of marriage. I don’t believe there is a ‘don’t ask don’t tell’ policy when it comes to this subject. If you asked a Priest if our relationship with Christ (by the Eucharist in particular) is similar to Marriage in that we are joined spiritually and physically, he would answer, “Yes.” Thank you for following me on Twitter, I have a feeling I am going to explore your writings in the future.

Thanks, Stan. I really was speaking about the evangelical church and their “low view” of Eucharist. I’m glad to hear that your priest feels that way.

I appreciate your comment very much.
